1. Location
The brilliant thing about having a marquee wedding is the flexibility to hold it wherever you want. Whether that's in the grounds of a stately home or historic gardens, in a field with an amazing view or even in your own garden. As long as you have some space, we can help you maximise it and create something beautiful. We have extensive experience constructing wedding marquees in unusual spaces and can advise you on exactly what can be achieved in your space.

2. Go as big (or small!) as you want
Available in an array of styles and sizes, our wedding marquees are scaleable to the size of your event (or space!).
Available in 3 metre sections, up to a width of 15 metres and unlimited length, you really can go as big as you like! In terms of style, our traditional rope and pole marquees are perfect for a country/rustic look. If you prefer something more modern, our framed clear span marquees give you the option for clear panels in the side and roof, really bringing the outside in.

3. You get to design the interior
From planning the layout and where the dance floor should go to the overall theme of the decor, it's completely up to you. We can help with lighting, flooring, furniture, crockery, cutlery, glassware and everything you will need to make your wedding perfect. We also have over 30 colours of table linen and chair sashes to choose from.
You can choose to use a specialist venue dresser and florist to achieve your desired look, or you can do it all yourself. All you need is a Pinterest board and plenty of creative flair. For 2020/2021 weddings, we're seeing lots of banquet set ups, with long tables and plenty of overhanging florals and lighting for a pretty, whimsical look.
4. Flexibility with guest numbers
We all know how difficult it is to control a wedding guest list, and one of the benefits of holding a marquee wedding is greater flexibility. Whilst we will ask you to confirm your minimum guest numbers 4 weeks before your marquee wedding, you can add extras on right up until installation day and we will adjust the furniture/crockery covers accordingly. So no need to worry about inviting those extra people you'd forgotten about!
5. You can choose your own caterers
Most wedding venues will require you to use their in house caterer, but with your marquee wedding you choose your own. This gives much greater flexibility in terms of choice and budget. You can go all out with a gourmet 4 course sit down meal or opt for something more casual such as a BBQ, street food, fish and chip van, freshly made pizza, we've seen it all!
We can recommend lots of caterers depending on your budget and the type of food you'd like, but 2 of our favourites are GJ Catering and Burnt Lemon Chefs.
6. Our experience and support
If you choose Chelsea Hire for your wedding marquee hire, we will provide a bespoke, tailored service from the initial site visit until the day we take the marquee structure down.
At your initial site visit, we will discuss your vision for your day and make some recommendations based on your numbers and the size of the location. We can provide a 2D or 3D drawing showing your marquee plan, but you can move things around as you see fit. We will also provide a quote detailing everything you need. We provide support right through to installation day, which is typically a Thursday for a Saturday wedding. With 20 years marquee experience. you really are in good hands.
