Event Details

We supplied a marquee for a wedding in the grounds of Castle Ashby. With only 3 months planning time and the specific requirements it was necessary for the venue to take down their existing semi permanent structure and a bespoke marquee to be erected.

Event Brief

For 220 guests, the requirement was for a large informal reception area with comfortable sofas and coffee tables, a formal dining area with seating on round tables, large dance floor and band space, luxury toilets, covered canopy area and separate catering marquee. The bride particularly wanted the dance floor area to be concealed during the day which required an elegant reveal to be erected between the two areas.

The Outcome

Stunning structure installed within the venue’s guidelines and the client’specifications. Boarded floors, new carpets, tables, chairs, sofas, coffee tables, table linen, chair covers, crockery, glassware, cutlery, catering equipment, outside furniture, and much more – all supplied by Chelsea Hire to make the day a huge success. With our on-site support throughout the set up and the actual day the wedding party could totally relax knowing every detail had been taken care of.
